Experimental Investigation on Bending Behavior of Textile Reinforced Concrete (TRC) Plates at High Temperatures

Textile Reinforced Concrete (TRC) can be used as independent structural elements due to its high loading capacity and proper product light weight thin walled elements. In thisstudy, the bending behavior of TRC plates that reinforced with dry carbon fiber textile exposed temperatures was experimentally studied under 4-points loading. Theexamined parameters were; (a) number reinforcements layers 1, 2 3 layers; (b) level 20°C, 200°C, 300°C, 400°C. Firstly, mechanical properties cementitious matrix tensile coupons at each predefined temperature were evaluated. The results showed ultimate stress did not affect up however, a significant reduction observed 300°C 400°C by 19% 24%respectively. Regarding compressive strength flexural matrix, degradation severe until while it became critical 400 °C (23% and22% respectively). result doubling tripling improved general, increasing resulted in decrease plates. highest recorded for specimen 1-layer subjected 33%.
